Rooted in legacy, reaching for the future

Rooted deep,
reaching wide.

Meera Anand is the self-made force behind Banyan and its investment philosophy. Her first lesson in business came from stringing marigold garlands and selling them outside the temple as a child, and minding the till at her father's cloth shop.

She invests today with that same belief: tend the roots and the canopy takes care of itself — patient, long-horizon, and unafraid to grow in unexpected directions.

Over time the Banyan philosophy widened into a holistic mindset: dare to be different, build a culture of courage, and create value not only financially, but for people and the planet.
